My big 5yo boy has been watching me crochet lately, and a couple of days ago caught me off guard while I was buying some yarn. "Show me how to crochet, Mum." And you know what? I have NO idea how to teach someone this age (or any age for that matter! My grandmother showed me a long time ago, but I've had to relearn it all myself from written instructions). So while I think about it some more (any suggestions gratefully received), I made him a scarf from wool he chose himself - yellow & a light orange, which I crocheted together as a double strand.
