
The girlchild and I spent a few hours over two afternoons this week putting together her jigsaw puzzle globe. The puzzle itself isn't difficult - the pieces are grouped into hexagons and pentagons and are pretty straightforward - but making flat pieces of cardboard into a self-supporting sphere is tricky!

A little silliness along the way ...

... and we ended up with a completed globe, ready to take in for news.
