Returning from Sydney on Sunday afternoon, we pulled up at the big rest stop on Lake George. And right there in front of us was a small herd of zebras!
Not real, of course, but surprisingly realistic, especially from the other side of the fence.
They were made by Canberra sculptor Alan Aston and painted by artist Julie Aston, and were the subject of some controversy, although I hadn't heard about this previously.
I just love them! They make me smile :)
