This is the first section that's going to get attention.
In the left corner, beyond the Hills Hoist, is a vege bed. Really. It's hidden behind weeds and grass, but it's in better condition than I thought it would be.
This bed was originally created as a no-dig garden, with cardboard and paper at the bottom, and layers of soil, compost and straw. We have a yard full of couch grass, and you can't dig deep enough to get it all out, so this was my solution, and as far as keeping the weeds and couch at bay, it seems to have worked. The brick edging just needs tidying up (with gloves!) and the wire for climbers is still ok.
It's previously had beans, snowpeas, corn, zucchini, tomatoes and a few things that didn't do as well, like the twisted carrot below (I think the bed just wasn't deep enough at the time for carrots, but it should be ok now):
